I specialize in working therapeutically with anxious attachment, codependency, low self-esteem, chronic loneliness, as well as recovery from past emotional abuse and complex trauma. My primary clinical interest is in narcissistic family systems and narcissism as a facet of personality development and structure.

If you’re not sure if these descriptors apply to your experience or not, let’s talk it through in a free consultation appointment.

I also have a practice specialization in relationship therapy for friendships and friends.

If you and a friend are experiencing conflict or distance in your relationship, let’s talk to see if therapy might be useful.

My approach is about supporting you as you compassionately explore your habits of being and doing in life so you can find more ease, peace, and vitality. We’ll be a good fit to work together if you’re wanting a collaborative, kind, curious, direct, and honest approach to making sense of what is causing you to suffer unnecessarily.

I do not currently accept insurance. By not accepting insurance, I am able to concentrate my time and energy on my clients more fully as well as doing more trainings, education, and research. It also allows us to collaborate on your “treatment” in a way that makes sense to you rather than having to stick to a medical/psychiatric model of mental health. I encourage questions about this from clients and potential clients and look forward to talking about it with you.

Your insurance company may be able to reimburse you; please contact them directly to find out if this is an option. Once we begin working together, I will provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” for the cost of services for a year so you know what to expect financially. You can read more about your rights as a client under the No Surprises Act here.

Clients need to be located in the state of Washington at the time of service.
